Jesusa R. “Mary” Loya, age 77 of Beeville passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Woodridge Nursing & Rehab. Ms. Loya was born in Refugio on October 29, 1941 to Manuel & Carolina (Medina) Rincon. She was married to Candelario “Mayo” Loya, and was a retired cook. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son; John Richard Loya, and three brothers; Robert Rincon, Joe Rincon, and Johnny Rincon.
She is survived by one daughter; Sandra Loya of Mathis, two brothers; Ray (Gloria) Rincon of Beeville, Manuel (Flora) Rincon, Jr. of San Angelo, one sister; Josie (Raymond) Cisneros of Woodsboro, one grandson; John Ross (Martina) Loya of Beeville, one great - granddaughter, Alexis Nicole Alvarado, one great - great granddaughter, Lilliana Rain Rodriguez and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Loya will lie in state on Thursday, January 31st at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church from 9:00a.m. – 10:00a.m. with a rosary to begin at that time. Funeral mass will follow immediately after the rosary with Father Richard Gonzales, officiating. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
