Adolfo V. Camargo, 92, of Beeville, formerly of Skidmore, died Sunday, April 28, 2019, in Corpus Christi.
Mr. Camargo was born Sept. 30, 1926, in Berclair to Emmanuel Camargo and Florentina V. (Eliseo) Garcia. He married Delia Riojas on Feb. 13, 1954. He was a retired construction worker and a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delia R. Camargo; three brothers, Enrique Cantu, Daniel Garcia and Arturo Camargo; and a sister, Herminia Lara.
Survivors include a brother, Jose Garcia of Beeville; six sisters, Baudelia Hanson of Corpus Christi, Lucia Garza and Lorenza Salinas, both of Beeville, and Dora Gonzales, Sara Gonzales and Guadalupe Gonzales, all of Skidmore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Treviño Funeral Home with a rosary recited there that evening at 7:30 p.m.
The funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday, May 1, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Santos Jones officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Cumpian, Adolfo Garza, Arnulfo Gonzales, Brian Theiss, Danny Garcia and Gilbert Gonzales.
Honorary pallbearers will be Manuel Lee Del Bosque, Morris Rincon, Amy Gonzales and Annie Cumpian and providers, Lisette Smith, Esther Zamora, and Kathryn Suniga.
