When it comes to keeping the family in a family business, few people manage the task the way the Treviño family has for the last three generations. In fact, out of the three family-owned funeral homes that once served Bee County, the Treviño Funeral Home, at 401 West Springer Street, is the oldest funeral home that has not and will not be bought by a corporation. It is known that family-owned businesses tend to care more for their employees and customers. Adam Treviño wouldn’t have it any other way. He is a skilled family business owner who is genuinely concerned about the families who seek his services. The Treviño family values that and will continue operating the business under the same beliefs.
The Treviño Funeral Home started in Gonzales, Texas in 1930 by Genaro Treviño. The family business then moved to Beeville in 1938 to start the empire they have built for nearly 90 years and it is still going strong. Adam Treviño is the second longest tenured funeral director in the state of Texas and will be recognized for his 60 years of service during the Texas Funeral Directors Association annual convention in June of 2020. In addition to his involvement with the Texas Funeral Directors Association, he is also a staunch supporter of the Independent Funeral Directors Association; an organization comprised of African-American funeral professionals.
Today, the Treviño Funeral Home is dedicated and committed to providing each family a meaningful ceremony to help memorialize their loved one. The Treviño family and its staff are there for you to help create a personalized service, allowing families and friends to come together to remember, honor and support each other in order to celebrate a life that has been lived.
The Treviño Funeral Home, like most family-owned funeral homes, provides affordable, quality services to you and the community. Customer trust is important and valued and it takes time for it to be built slowly. Our funeral home is staffed by family, citizens of the community, and graduates from the state of Texas prestigious schools of mortuary science as well as local colleges. It is important to trust a funeral home that is owned and operated by a family right here in your community because local family ownership means more personal service and more personal involvement, and in many cases it offers lower funeral cost since there are no corporate over-head so the money stays here in our local community fulfilling your commemorative needs and desires.
Our care and concern for the families we serve is evident in the fact we provide empathetic care during your time of loss. Upon the initial call, the caring members of our staff are committed to serving you in a timely manner. We also are made aware how moments such as this are unexpected; therefore we understand the precious moments you desire to spend with your loved ones before we begin to work with you preparing them for their homegoing services. Pre-need, at-need, and after-care is provided for every family we serve. As it is stated by Mr. Treviño at the conclusion of every service, "We are praying with you and for you in the days ahead; all because our family is there for your family".
