Lorenzo G. “Lencho” Gonzales, age 82 of Beeville went to be with our Father in Heaven and joined the love of his life his wife Alicia M. Gonzales on Saturday, October 14, 2017. He was born on August 21, 1935 to the late Pedro G. and Matiana Gonzales of Beeville. He worked as a salesman at Skid Mart Lumber Company for many years. He also played for the Beeville Blue Jays where he was a pitcher. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers; Thomas Gonzales (Ramona), Onofre Gonzales (Lily), sister; Esperanza Trevino (Fernando) from California. His is survived by his children; Ralph (Juanita) Gonzales, Elizabeth Moreno Wisenbaker Gonzales of Beeville, brothers; Pete Gonzales (Ilse) of Las Vegas, Oliver Gonzales (Rosa), Luis Gonzales (Ester) of Beeville. Sisters; Consuelo Flores (Joe), Mary Wilson (Fred) of San Antonio, Elodia Hathaway (Jerry) of Beeville, Julia Wagner (Bob) of Colton, California, Martha Sauceda (Javier) of Beeville. Two granddaughters; Chandra and Celestina Gonzales, and a host of other relatives and friends.

 

A rosary will be recited at Trevino Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 18th at 7:00p.m. Mr. Gonzales will lie in state at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from 9:00a.m. – 9:55a.m. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Thursday, October 19th at 10:00a.m. with Noe Garza, officiating. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
